Ibadaton ki tarah main ye kaam kart a hun
Mera usool hai pahle salaam karta hun

Mukhalifat se miri shakhsiyat sanwarti hai
Main dushmanon ka bada ehteram karta hun

Main apni jeb mein apna pata nahin rakhta
Safar mein sirf yahi ehtemam karta hun

Main dar gaya hun I)ahut sayadaar pedon se
Zara si dhoop bichhakar qayaam karta hun

Mujhe khuda ne ghazal ka dayar bakhsha hai
Ye saltanat main mohabbat ke naam karta hun

Koi kanta chubha nahin hota

Parakhna mat parakhne mein...
