Ghazal Maestro Jagjit Singh is Brand Ambassador for IRSPBB
IRSPBB has got blessings of Ghazal Singer Jagjit Singh as their Brand Ambassador.
Paramount Ghazal singer Mr. Jagjit Singh has very good synchronized relationship with Dr. Badr. Dr. Badr writes simplest yet unique expression in his Shers/Ghazals which Jagjit admires and Dr. Badr likes Jagjit’s voice as he thinks it’s the real presentation for his Poetry. The unison has created many Ghazals which are in stores for public listening. Jagjit Singh says that what makes Bashir’s shers and Ghazals exceptional is the fact that they are very straight and simple. One with fondness for poetry can easily understand Bashir’s poetry. Precisely Bashir’s shers if are romantic they are romantic, if they philosophical they are philosophical. Bashir is a very popular name in the Urdu poetry world.
Jagjit praises and gives his wishes to IRSPBB for its initiative to bring Bashir’s shers to the world by translation and the IRSPBB website. In his special video message on the occasion of preview launch of www.bashirbadr.com Mr. Singh has given his best wishes to IRSPBB’s founder Mr. Niesh Neel and urged him to expand the portal to include of other great poets from India. Mr. Singh congratulated Mr. Nilesh and his team for taking the courage to innovate the first ever (and largest) portal on dedicated to any Indian Poet and poetry for generations to come.
Mr. Singh has also promised to do a world tour under the banner of IRSPBB to promote the vision and poetry to Urdu and Hindi Poetry lovers all over the world. Funds raised by these concerts will be used for managing the portal and organizing publishing and workshops all across the globe to promote and nourish new talents.
IRSPBB Overview
International Readers Society of Poet Bashir Badr is a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Founded in 2010; it is an undertake to divulge the riches of Bashir Badr’s written work. IRSPBB dedicates its efforts in promotion of Urdu Poet Bashir’s commended work to the general readers; it has been involved in conducting public program and translating his work into various other languages. The objective of the society is bringing forth Poet Badr’s Ghazals and Poems into to the reach of poet lovers and acquires a larger readership.
Since from 2004, founder and chairman of the society Mr. Nilesh Neel and his team have spent enough research on data related to Dr. Bashir Badr. Mr. Neel has spent time to travel and collect literature, information photographs, and interviews to contribute to the website of Dr. Bashir Badr.
The Organization was registered as an International organization in the year 2010, one of its only kinds to register with the name “International”. IRSPBB is in full process to get registered under the Section 25 Companies, the reason IRSPBB advocating this name for the company is for the fact that under Bombay Public Trust Act, registration of IRSPBB is not possible as the word “INTERNATIONAL”. Due to the powers that be practiced by the charity commissioner. However the same name can be registered under Section 25 of the companies Act 1956. “International” title is vital to the name of the organization so as to undertake & promote especially literary works and Ghazals of Urdu poet Bashir Badr and his Gharana.
IRSPBB has agreement for rights of Dr. Bashir Badr’s content publishing between Dr. Bashir Badr and founder chairman Mr. Nilesh Neel of IRSPBB. Rights for all his poetic work and exclusively copyrights is awarded to the IRSPBB In witness of:
- Dr. Rahat Badr (Principal, All Saints School, Bhopal M.P.), Wife of Poet Badr.
- Iqbal Masood (Joint Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, Bhopal)
Well known Urdu Critic Mr. Iqbal Masood (Retd. Joint Secretary, MP Urdu Academy) has taken the lead for Editorial and Content. Operational Team lead by CEO, Mrs. Alpana Neel and has some of the best industry names as Mrs. Kavita Sehgal (Publisher).
