Udasi ka ye patthar ansuon se nam nahin hota
Hazaaron jugnuon se bhi andhera kam nahin hota

Kabhi barsat mein shadaab belen sookh jati he in
Hare pedo ke girne ka koi mosam nahin hota

Bahut se log dil ko is tarah mehfooz rakhte hein
Koi barish ho ye kaghaz zara bhi nam nahin hota

Bichhadte waqt koi badgumani dil mein aa jati
Use bhi gham nahin hota mujhe bhi gham nahin hota

Ye ansu he in inhen phulon mein shabnam ki tarah rakhna
Ghazal ahsas hay ahsas ka matam nahin hota

Ab kise chahen kise dhunda...

Ye chiragh be nazar hai ye...
