agjit Singh is one of those voices from India, which is unique and relished all over the world, esp. by the listeners of Ghazals. In this interview he names those much-admired Ghazals, which he has sung from Bashir Badr’s collection. Till date he has sung many Ghazals of Dr. Bashir. He believes that, Bashir Badr’s distinctive quality is that, his poetries are straight and simple which anybody can understand. Dr Badr’s poetry has got various shades, when it is romantic it is romantic, when it is philosophical it is philosophical.
