Jashn-e-Bashir Badr was an event organized as a tribute to Bashir in 2000, in Dubai. It is an occasion organized every year, rendering great respect and love to the one honored; christening the ceremony in the name of one who is being bestowed. Hence the ceremony was named Jashn-e-Bashir Badr.

He was honoured for his unprecedented work. Various esteemed and honoured people from the field of Literature and poetry solicited the ceremony.

The magazine on this event puts in league Bashir’s picture with, His Highness Sheikh Maktom Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice president and the Prime minister of U.A.E and ruler of Dubai. Writers of India and Pakistan have written various articles about Bashir’s Ghazals in this magazine.
